Hi Laurence, yes the Flash player in overlay mode can have some unpredictable behaviour when playing over other flash pieces. We wanted to be as open as possible on the sites submitted, and how they construct their pages Is entirely out of our control, however if we do see that the overlay is not functioning on site we will endeavour to resolve the issue or swap that site out.

Re: your second post, rainbows, and map items are on timers, so they do disappear and reappear. I can assure you that it has nothing to do with the proximity of the balloons. That would be very mean indeed :)

When viewing the overlay, items will start flashing if they have 30 seconds or less left so you can wait if necessary until the last moment before spending that precious boost. On the map, you will need to refresh the page periodically to see updated positions of items.

Hope that helps!

Actually, the second most annoying thing is boosting to get to the rainbows, only to find that they have just vanished and moved 30 rows up!
It's done it so often now that I'm convinced there's something written into the app to change the position of the goodies when my balloon gets close!
Not really spent a lot of time on Balloonacy because of that.

I'm hooked, I love this balloon racing, the only thing, I will reiterate Laurences comment on the annoing flash sites that cover up the racing, I have 'lost' a few stars by being stuck behing a flash. Apart from that this is great fun, thanks to everyone for all your hard work.

The most annoying thing has been the large number of sites which are completely Flash based, or which have dives that hide the balloonacy interface. Other than that, it's a nice app.
Wyrm.
